Redox flow batteries (RFBs) have emerged as a promising technology for medium- to long-term energy storage. However, the discovery and optimization of redox shuttles in RFBs remain hindered by traditional synthesis and testing methods, thus having low reproducibility, making it difficult to understand correlations and integrate additional methods.<\/p><p>In response to the problems mentioned above, this project aims to establish a rapid, high-throughput method to identify and develop materials for electrochemical energy storage. My work is \u201cHigh-throughput synthesis of redox shuttles\u201d, and focuses on three core objectives:<\/p><ol><li><strong>Development of the high-throughput electrochemical characterisation system for redox molecules<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Development of the high-throughput stability testing and <\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Study of the metal-ligand complexes stability.<\/strong><\/li><\/ol><p><br \/>This project aims to accelerate the discovery of redox shuttles for flow batteries by enabling rapid evaluation of candidate materials and their stability by simultaneously generating experimental datasets to train machine learning models.
